NRIs return to India: What's driving this rush? - The Economic Times:
"In 2010, roughly 60,000 Indian professionals from different parts of the world returned home to start a new life. This year, more are expected to come back. According to a global survey by Heidrick and Struggles, 82% non-resident Indians (NRIs) and people of Indian origin (PIOs) are willing to shift base to India if a suitable opportunity turns up. What's driving this rush? According to Rajiv Imamdar, director of the knowledge management centre at Heidrick and Struggles, it is not the bad job market in the West but the plenitude of opportunities in India. This, and many more trends are analysed by their survey shared exclusively with ET on Sunday. Alongside, four foreign returnees tell ET the challenges and thrills of moving back. And why they don't regret it at all."
