Is 'Outsourced' racist?
Is 'Outsourced' racist? - The Week
So the buzz last week was about Outsourced. NBC had been teasing us with the promos of the show, making every desi and his/her mother wanting to see the show...but was it worth it? Your comments below, please...
However, as usual, there was some deep introspection and critical analysis of the show by distinguished personalities...ranging from does "Eastern cultures produce timid women" to 'should we really be looking at the White guy and the country he comes from?"...
..."every time it veers toward being an incisive commentary on American insularity and superficiality, it panics, jumping to jokes on the level of, 'What's with the dot on the head?'"
